About
Local.
Mendo AI is a local-first AI company, founded in Mendocino County. We live and work here.
Who we are
A small business does not need enterprise AI. It needs a local partner it can trust.
- Your data stays yours. You decide who learns what.
AI for people, not instead of people.

Common questions
What is the Map?
Your Mendo AI Passport: a clear document and diagram of every computer, device, piece of software, vendor, and connection your business runs on. It's just the facts, and you own it.
Do I have to use you for AI after the Map?
No. Take your Map to any AI company you like. Work with us, work with someone else, or both. It's your call.
How do you find what's worth doing?
Starting from your Map, we look at how work really gets done in each part of your business. You get a ranked list, and we'll tell you plainly when something isn't worth building.
Will you build it and leave?
No. If you want it built, we build it, and we stay on to keep it working.
What does Managed IT cover?
We look after your computers, network, security, and backups, and help when something breaks. Your Map stays current as your business changes.
Do AI vendors need access to my network?
No. When a vendor needs to know whether their product will work with your systems, they ask us. You stay in control of who learns what.
We would like to hear about your business.
